On March 31, 2024, 6dwthg conducted an outreach at Somorin Junction in Abeokuta, with the theme “Return to the Lord.” From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the team gathered in faith to call the people of the community back to God, urging them to return to His love and grace.
The outreach began with a time of worship that drew the attention of passersby and residents. As songs of praise echoed through the junction, hearts softened, and people began to approach the gathering. The theme, “Return to the Lord,” resonated deeply with many who had drifted from their faith or were burdened by life’s challenges.
Throughout the outreach, the message was clear: God’s arms are always open, waiting for His children to return. Evangelists shared testimonies of God’s redemptive love, emphasizing that no matter how far anyone had strayed, there was forgiveness and restoration in Christ. Many individuals were visibly moved, and several shared their stories of hardship and disillusionment.
By the end of the outreach, many had responded to the call of salvation. Lives were transformed as people rededicated themselves to Christ, embracing the message of returning to the Lord. The outreach ended with a prayer of thanksgiving and a declaration of blessings over Somorin Junction.
This outreach was a powerful reminder that no matter how far people have wandered, God’s love remains steadfast, and He is always ready to welcome them home. The team left Somorin Junction with hearts full of gratitude, knowing that the seeds sown would continue to flourish in the days to come.
