On March 17, 2024, 6dwthg held a powerful outreach at OGD Extension Gate in Abeokuta, Ogun State. From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the team gathered to spread the Good News of salvation and hope in Jesus Christ. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as people from the local community arrived, curious and expectant.
The outreach began with heartfelt worship and prayer, creating an atmosphere for God’s presence to move freely. Our team of evangelists and ministers walked round the environment where we pitched out tent, sharing the message of Christ with boldness and compassion. Many listened attentively as we spoke of the love of God, the sacrifice of Jesus, and the invitation to eternal life through Him.
As we engaged with individuals, it was clear that God had already been preparing hearts. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we were able to speak words of encouragement and life into their situations, reminding them of the hope found in Christ. One particularly memorable moment came when bike men (okada riders), who had been sitting by the gate watching from a distance, finally approached us. After hearing the Gospel, we are persuaded that they were overwhelmed by the love of God.
By the end of the outreach, dozens of souls had responded to the call of salvation. Many received the word of grace with meekness, joy, and hope, grateful for the encounter with God. The outreach concluded with thanksgiving and a prayer of blessing over the city and the new believers, trusting that the seeds planted would bear lasting fruit.
This outreach at OGD Gate was a testament to the boundless grace of God and the importance of stepping out in faith to reach the lost. As we continue this mission in Abeokuta and beyond, we are confident that God will continue to do mighty works through 6dwthg, transforming lives and advancing His Kingdom.
