June 2024 Annual Minister’s Conference – The Making Of A Minister

The June 2024 Annual Minister’s Conference was a landmark event—the first of its kind in our ministry. Held at the Asero Estate Football Field in Abeokuta, it was a powerful three-day (14th – 16th) gathering designed to equip and empower ministers for the work of the Gospel. The theme, “The Making of a Minister,” set the tone for a deep exploration of what it means to be shaped for service in God’s kingdom.

Day 1: Ingathering and Teaching by Olalekan Kola
The conference began with an ingathering of all 6dwthg ministers, setting the tone with heartfelt prayers and worship. It was a time of spiritual alignment as everyone united in seeking God’s face for the journey ahead. God’s Servant, Olalekan Kola, took the stage and delivered a powerful word, laying the foundation for the theme of the conference. He spoke about the significance of calling and preparation, urging every minister to deepen their relationship with God and rely on His guidance for ministry. It was a time of refreshing and re-dedication, as many ministers found themselves stirred to pursue their assignments with renewed vigor.

Day 2: Teaching by Pastor Daniel Chris on Prayer and the Word
On the second day, Pastor Daniel Chris took the baton and delivered an insightful teaching on two critical tools in the making of a minister: prayer and the Word of God. He emphasized the necessity of building a life steeped in both, explaining that no minister can be effective without a strong prayer life and deep knowledge of Scripture. Pastor Daniel shared practical insights and personal experiences, reminding ministers that prayer unlocks heaven’s power, while the Word grounds them in truth. The teaching was both instructional and transformative, equipping the ministers with essential tools to navigate their spiritual journeys.

Day 3: Sermon by Apostle Faith Joye on Consecration
The final day of the conference was marked by a powerful sermon from Apostle Faith Joye, who spoke on the consecration required in making a minister. She delved into the depths of what it means to be set apart for God’s service, highlighting the need for purity, obedience, and total surrender. Apostle Faith’s message was delivered with such authority and conviction that many ministers were moved to recommit themselves to a life of holiness and dedication to God’s work. It was a time of deep introspection, repentance, and spiritual renewal, as the presence of God filled the atmosphere.

Throughout the three days, the conference was undeniably a time of divine encounter, empowerment, and transformation. Ministers left with a deeper understanding of their calling, more equipped to serve with excellence and integrity. The presence of God was tangible, and His work in the hearts of the ministers was evident, setting the stage for a greater outpouring in the ministry in the months to come.
