April 2026 Outreach: Jesus Cares

The outreach at Ibara Orile, Abeokuta was another beautiful expression of God’s love through the ministry of 6DWTHG (6 Days With The HolyGhost). It was a time of evangelism, prayer, healing, and the demonstration of the compassion of Jesus Christ toward the people of the community.

The first and second day of the outreach was dedicated to street evangelism. The team went out into different parts of the community to preach the Gospel and invite the people to the outreach program scheduled for the following day.

At several junctions and gathering points, the Gospel of Jesus Christ was boldly proclaimed. The people were reminded that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and they were encouraged to turn away from sin and surrender their lives to the One who alone has the power to truly save and deliver.

Many listened attentively to the message, and prayers were offered for those who believed the Word and yielded their lives to Christ. The team also invited the people to attend the main outreach program on Sunday so they could experience more of God’s love and power.

Before departing, prayers were made over the land, committing the community into God’s hands and asking for His peace, mercy, and salvation to rest upon the people of Ibara Orile.

The main outreach program began with an opening prayer and welcome address led by Mr. Olalekan Kola. He warmly greeted the people of the community and expressed appreciation to them for welcoming the Gospel of Christ into their land. He also thanked the clinic management for graciously providing the venue used for the outreach program.

Furthermore, he introduced the guest minister, Pastor Yusuf, alongside his mother and the evangelism team who joined in the outreach assignment.

The program continued with an uplifting session of praise and worship led by the evangelism team. While worship was ongoing, some members of the outreach team moved around the community to remind the people who had earlier been invited during the evangelism exercise. By the grace of God, a few individuals with physical challenges were transported to the outreach venue, while many others also came willingly to participate in the meeting.

The Word of Exhortation was ministered by Pastor Yusuf and Evangelist Monica Kola on the theme “Jesus Cares,” with the anchor scripture taken from 1 Peter 5:7“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

Through the ministration, the people were reminded of the compassion and love of Jesus Christ. They spoke about how Jesus healed the sick, raised the dead, and performed many miracles during His earthly ministry as evidence of His deep care for humanity. The message encouraged the people to trust God with their burdens, challenges, and fears, knowing that Jesus still cares for His people today.

Following the Word came a powerful session of healing and deliverance. People suffering from different illnesses, afflictions, and spiritual challenges were ministered to through prayers and the power of God moved mightily among the people.

As another demonstration of the love of Christ, clothing items were distributed among the people, especially the younger ones. This act of kindness brought joy to many and further reflected the message that Jesus truly cares for every aspect of human life.

The outreach was concluded by Mr. Olalekan Kola, who gave thanks to God for all that He had done throughout the program. He encouraged the people to remain steadfast in Christ and continue in the faith. He also assured the community that, by God’s permission, the team would visit them again in the future.

To God Be All the Glory

The outreach at Ibara Orile was indeed a testimony of God’s love, compassion, and saving power. Souls were reached, lives were touched, and hope was restored through the preaching of the Gospel and the demonstration of God’s love.

We return all glory to God for another successful outreach through 6DWTHG (6 Days With The HolyGhost). Hallelujah!
