June 8th Minister’s Retreat 2025 Day 3: Whatever He Tells You To Do, Do!

Day 3 of the 6 Days With The Holy Ghost Minister’s Retreat was a deeply impactful and spirit-filled conclusion to a glorious time in God’s presence. As the final day of the retreat, there was a deep sense of gratitude and expectation in the hearts of all who gathered.

The service began with heartfelt prayers, as ministers and participants lifted their voices in thanksgiving—appreciating the Lord for bringing them this far and trusting Him for all He had in store for the final day. The opening hymn, “Blessed Assurance, Jesus is Mine,” set the tone for what would become a powerful outpouring of God’s presence.

Following the hymn, an intense and fervent prayer session followed, with heartfelt cries rising for a fresh move of the Holy Spirit to fill the gathering. It was a time of alignment, surrender, and spiritual preparation.

The atmosphere was then charged with vibrant praise and deep worship led by Brother Daniel Babalola. The people praised wholeheartedly, hands lifted, voices raised—giving glory to God with everything they had. The unity in worship was tangible, and the joy of the Lord filled the room.

The highlight of the day was the ministration of the Word by the Guest Minister, Pastor Julius Adeboye, who powerfully expounded on the retreat theme: “Whatever He Tells You to Do, Do!” (John 2:5).

Pastor Adeboye emphasized key truths that stirred the hearts of everyone present:

  • The Value of God’s Word: We must place value on the Word God gives us. It is not to be taken lightly. We are admonished to let the Word of Christ dwell richly in us (Colossians 3:16).
  • Our Walk with God: Our personal walk with God must be prioritized above every other thing. Even when discouragement arises, we are called to draw strength from within and continue our journey faithfully.
  • Loyalty to Jesus: He reminded us that our first allegiance is to Jesus—the One who called us. All our service must flow from that place of loyalty and love for Christ.
  • Obedience is Key to Fruitfulness: Success in ministry and in life is not based on personal effort or strategy, but on obedience to divine instructions. When we act on our own, we risk frustration. But when we follow His voice, we experience fruitfulness.

To truly walk in obedience to God’s instructions, the pastor laid out four essential requirements:

  1. Empty Yourself of Your Own Knowledge
  2. Allow the Simplicity of God’s Word Into Your Life
  3. Be Humble
  4. Do Not Give Excuses

The message was followed by a time of deep intercession—prayers were raised for the ministry, for the ministers present, and for the land. It was a time of commissioning and sending, as the retreat came to a glorious end.

The closing hymn was sung, and the Grace was shared among the brethren in sweet fellowship.

Indeed, Day 3 marked the end of a transformational retreat, but the beginning of greater obedience, deeper surrender, and a renewed passion to do whatever He tells us to do.

All Glory to God!
