The 6 Days with the Holy Ghost Crusade, themed “JESUS REVEALED TO THIS GENERATION,” was a landmark event that brought together people from all walks of life to experience the transforming power of God. Held from November 1 to November 6 at the Asero Football Field in Abeokuta, the crusade drew multitudes eager to encounter Jesus afresh. Each day carried its unique anointing, with an outpouring of worship, impactful teachings, and heartfelt prayers that left attendees deeply touched and forever changed.
Day 1: A Spirit-Led Beginning
The crusade began on Friday, November 1, at 12 pm, with the land of Asero and its people being committed to God through fervent intercessory prayers. The opening prayer set the stage for six days of divine encounters, as the atmosphere was charged with anticipation and faith.
Worship on this day was particularly remarkable. With hearts laid bare, the congregation worshiped God with a depth of sincerity that moved many to tears. The sound of voices lifted in unity created an atmosphere of awe, as attendees connected with God like never before.
The Word for the day was delivered by Minister Seun Hamzat. Preaching under the unction of the Holy Spirit, he emphasized God’s love, reminding everyone that God is deeply in love with us. He drew from the anchor text, 1 Corinthians 3:9: “For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.” Minister Hamzat highlighted that we are God’s project, God is rejoicing over us, and He will not mismanage our lives. His teaching resonated deeply, leaving many with a renewed hunger for a personal encounter with Christ. The day concluded with an overwhelming sense of God’s presence, and attendees departed expectant for the days ahead.
